The Stamford Masjid & Cultural Centre is a registered charity dedicated to establishing a spiritual and educational hub for the Muslim community in Stamford and the surrounding areas. We adhere to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, following the way of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah (Sunni).

Establishing a Place of Worship:

Our primary goal is the provision and maintenance of a dedicated Mosque (Masjid) in Stamford. This serves as the heartbeat of the community, facilitating the five daily prayers, Friday (Jumu'ah) prayers, and Taraweeh during Ramadan.

Education for All Ages:

We believe knowledge is the foundation of faith. We are committed to:

Children: Providing structured Islamic education (Madrasah) to nurture the next generation.

Adults: Hosting lectures, study circles, and classes to deepen the understanding of Islamic jurisprudence, theology, and history.

Celebrating Our Faith:

We organise annual Islamic festivals (such as Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha), creating a joyful atmosphere where the community can come together to celebrate our shared identity.

Community Outreach & Dawah:

We strive to be a resource for the wider Stamford public. By producing and distributing literature and welcoming guests, we aim to enlighten others about the true peaceful nature of Islam, dispelling misconceptions and building bridges of understanding with our non-Muslim neighbors.
